Experienced 3.5T Furniture Delivery Driver
Join our friendly, family-run team delivering high-quality sofas and furniture to customers throughout the North West and beyond. We are Worthington Brougham Furniture, and we're looking for an experienced, capable driver who takes pride in their work, enjoys meeting customers and wants a stable, long-term position.
About the job
- Permanent part-time position (typically 28-33 hours per week spread over 3 - 4 days to include Monday, Tuesday, Friday and your choice of either Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday)
- Consistent working hours with advance rota
- Annual salary £20,000 (hourly rate approx. £12.80)
- Based in Chorley, Lancashire
- Company pension scheme
- 28 days paid holiday per year (pro-rata)

About the work
Working with us you will be responsible for safely delivering sofas and furniture into customers' homes, representing our company with care and professionalism. Your duties will include:
- Using our GPS tracked 3.5T Luton sign-written company van to deliver sofas and furniture to our customers and assist with moving stock
- Deliveries across the North West, with occasional longer trips further afield (these will be planned in advance)
- Assisting with other tasks in the showroom and warehouse as needed
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and ensuring cleanliness and safety of the van
- Representing Worthington Brougham Furniture positively at all times
What we're looking for:
- Experience delivering bulky furniture, ideally sofas, into customers' homes
- Confidence and experience driving a 3.5T luton van or similar-sized vehicle
- A full, clean UK driving licence with 10+ years of driving experience
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying large items safely
