12 Month Warranty on Ex Display Sofas and Clearance Suites

We stand behind the products we sell, that’s why we offer a 12 month warranty on all of our clearance upholstery. This includes our ex-display sofas, cancelled orders,  and all overstock and brand new surplus stock not otherwise covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Our 12 month warranty is designed to cover everything you would expect from the usual manufacturer’s warranty, without the added expense of an external warranty policy. We have done our best to keep this as straightforward as possible, however if there is anything you are unsure of please do get in touch.

What is covered by the 12 month ex display sofa warranty?

Our 12-month warranty  covers the frame and structure, moving parts, feet, springs, and electronics, against defects that arise from pre-existing manufacturing flaws and issues attributable to the sofa’s workmanship. This warranty covers the listed issues during normal domestic use.

When does the warranty begin and how long does it last?

The warranty begins on the date the item is delivered, and ends 12 months from the day after the delivery date. For example if an item is delivered on the 1st of August 2024, it would be covered until the close of business on the 2nd of August 2025.

How can I make a claim on the warranty?

In order to make a claim on the warranty you must contact us within 7 days of noticing the problem you wish to report, via phone, email or in person, stating the nature of the issue.

What happens if I make a claim on the warranty?

We will confirm in writing that we have received your claim within 3 working days.  We may ask you for more information or photos, and/or we may send a technician to inspect the item before we do anything else. Depending on the nature of the claim we will then arrange for either an in-home repair or collection for a return-to-base repair. For return-to-base repairs the item will undergo a thorough inspection on arrival at the warehouse, and before any work is done.

Does it cost anything to make a claim?

If your claim is accepted your furniture will be repaired free of charge. We reserve the right to reject claims that are not covered by this policy, and may charge for the repair cost, parts and/or transport costs if the problem you have reported is not covered. You will be notified of this possibility and any potential costs before any work is done.

What is not covered by the warranty?

This warranty covers defects arising as a result of normal domestic use only. It does not cover cosmetic damage, fair wear and tear, commercial use, accidental damage, pet damage, or any issues resulting from misuse or abuse of the product. For the purposes of the warranty, normal use is sitting on the seat of the sofa, operating any moving parts and mechanisms in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and not exceeding the weight limit.

This warranty is offered in addition to your consumer rights in the UK.
